The Bad Boys are a group of like minded people who enjoy their birding worldwide and who also like to relax at the end of the day once the serious work is over.
Originally conceived by Messrs. Banfield, Barnard and Brooks over a glass of fine Ribera del Duero one evening in the Coto Doņana, the group has expanded in size and includes birders from as far afield as Philadelphia, Cork and Reading.
And that is how we are a loose knit group of people with a common love of birdwatching, nature and the occasional good meal.
We have, of course, a few regular travellers but we always give a warm welcome to anyone who would like to join us, even if only for one trip.
We organise several trips each year with the aim of providing great birding at good value, and details of forthcoming trips can be found in the Future Trips page of this site.
This site is about our various adventures with, of course, the emphasis on birding. It is not intended to be super professional, but just a place where members can share their trip reports, photographs and memories.
In the Gallery section we attempt to give you a visual flavour of some of the birds we have seen and the beautiful places we have visited. We welcome contributions from anyone who has travelled with us, so please contact Wilf or Jonny with any items you wish to add to the site.
